Chapter 37: The Black Core
Deep within the heart of the fortress, Leo found Silas. He was standing in front of a massive power core, surrounded by dozens of screens displaying the fabricated economic collapse he was about to unleash upon the world.
"You arrived faster than I expected," Silas said, turning around and unsheathing a magnetic short-sword. His elite guard immediately surrounded Leo's team.
"The game is over, Silas," Leo raised his weapon. "Your delusions of absolute control end right here."

A fierce, close-quarters battle erupted in the control room. The Foundation operatives fought with absolute discipline, while Leo and Silas locked into a brutal duel. Silas's blade grazed Leo's arm, but Leo quickly utilized a CQC maneuver to disarm his opponent and knock him back.
