Chapter 24: The Architecture of a Siege
The war for Oakhaven would not be fought with bullets. It would be fought with economics, intelligence, and absolute, devastating legal precision.
Elias established a secure command center in a nearby city. The glow of dozens of monitors illuminated the dark room as the Foundation’s top legal and financial analysts worked in synchronized silence.
"Damian Vane is utilizing a network of corrupt local judges to legitimize the land seizure," Elias reported, bringing up a complex digital web of political connections. "He has paid them millions to ignore the constitutional rights of the valley’s indigenous population."
Leo stood behind Elias, his arms crossed over his chest.
"We don't fight the judges," Leo instructed, his mind operating ten steps ahead of the enemy. "We fight the money. Aetherius Global is a publicly traded company. Damian Vane answers to shareholders who care only about profit margins, not his ego."
Leo tapped a specific node on the digital map.
"Target their international supply chains," Leo commanded. "File emergency human rights injunctions in every port that receives their exports. Freeze their cargo ships. We will make it economically toxic for anyone in the world to do business with Aetherius as long as they hold that dam."

Elias allowed a faint, predatory smile to touch his lips. It was the exact maneuver Isabella would have executed.
"A complete economic quarantine," Elias confirmed, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "By Monday morning, Aetherius stock will be bleeding out on the global market."
