The revelation transformed Clara’s pain into an absolute, unyielding resolve. She wasn't just a discarded stepdaughter anymore; she was the rightful owner of the entire Sterling-Vanguard conglomerate.

However, Arthur and Beatrice weren't going to surrender easily. Within hours of leaving the bank, Julian discovered that their phones were being tapped and strange black SUVs were tailing them. Beatrice had realized that the destruction of the necklace had triggered a chain reaction, and she was going on the offensive.

"They're framing you to neutralize the documents," Julian said as they hid in a safe house on the outskirts of the city. "If you're arrested, the police will seize the vault documents as 'stolen evidence,' and Beatrice will make sure they vanish forever."

"Then we don't give them the chance," Clara said, looking at the DNA profiles and original deeds spread across the table. "We don't go to the police. We go directly to the public. We stage a coup where they least expect it."
