Chapter 10: A True Family

Chapter 10: A True Family

One year later.

The sun shone brightly over the Harrington estate, bathing the grand gardens in golden light. The old, cold marble floors of the ballroom had been covered in soft, warm Persian rugs, and the house was filled with music and life.

Six-year-old Lily, now glowing with health and happiness, ran through the grass wearing a beautiful white flower crown. She had completely healed from her past trauma, surrounded by unconditional love.

In the center of the garden stood an elegant canopy. Guests from all over the world—true friends, not the superficial vultures of the past—applauded as the marriage celebrant spoke.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Alexander smiled down at Clara, his new bride. He slid a flawless diamond ring onto her finger, his eyes filled with a deep, profound devotion. He leaned down and kissed her, a kiss that sealed a promise of a bright, beautiful future.

Lily ran up to them, throwing her arms around both of their legs. "Mommy Clara! Daddy! Look at the butterflies!"

Clara knelt down, picking Lily up and holding her close against her wedding dress, not caring about the dirt on her shoes. "I see them, my beautiful daughter."

Alexander wrapped his arms around his wife and child. He had all the wealth in the world, but as he looked at his family laughing in the sunshine, he knew that his greatest fortune was finally safe in his arms.

Vanessa and her family were serving life sentences without parole, completely forgotten by the world. Justice had been served, the past was buried, and love had finally won.
