Chapter 7 - A New Dawn (The Happy Ending)

Six months later, the dust had completely settled. The encrypted hard drives inside the steel briefcase had been turned over to a trusted federal contact of the Iron Outlaws. The evidence was enough to completely dismantle the Syndicate, putting Victor, Marcus, and their entire operation behind bars for the rest of their natural lives. Sarah was finally safe, legally divorced, and free from the shadows of her past.
The sun was setting again, casting the same amber shadows, but this time, the setting was very different. It wasn't a rundown, terrifying house in a bad neighborhood. It was the sprawling, beautiful backyard of the Iron Outlaws’ main clubhouse, located on a peaceful piece of land in the countryside.
Music was playing, smoke from a barbecue drifted through the air, and laughter echoed. The tough, hardened bikers who usually struck fear into the hearts of strangers were currently being ordered around by a very energetic six-year-old boy. Leo was wearing a miniature leather vest, custom-made by the club, with the words "Little Outlaw" embroidered on the back. He was sitting on Colt's parked motorcycle, making engine noises while Jax pretended to be scared of his speed.
Sarah stood on the porch of the clubhouse, holding a cup of coffee, a beautiful, radiant smile on her face. The bruises were gone, replaced by a glow of peace and happiness she hadn't felt in years. She looked down at Colt, who walked up the porch steps, two plates of food in his hands.
"He really looks up to you, you know," Sarah said softly, nodding toward Leo, who was now trying to high-five the entire motorcycle club.
Colt smiled, a genuine, warm expression that softened his rugged features. He handed her a plate and looked out over the brotherhood he had built, and the new family he had sworn to protect.

"He's a good kid, Sarah. And he doesn't have to look up to me. We're walking beside him now," Colt said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
For the first time in their lives, Sarah and Leo weren't running. They were finally home, surrounded by a wall of leather, steel, and unbreakable loyalty. The nightmare was over, and a beautiful new chapter had just begun.
