Chapter 10 - A New Dawn

One year later, the Brooks estate opened its grand iron gates once again—not for a tense press conference or a dark corporate meeting, but for a celebration of life, healing, and new beginnings.
The circular driveway was filled with white roses and soft fairy lights hanging from the old oak trees. Sunlight bathed the stone walls as gentle music drifted through the air.
In the center of the garden, an elegant glass pavilion had been constructed. Friends, loyal staff, and community members gathered with joyful smiles as Daniel stood near the altar, looking handsome in a tailored suit, his eyes fixed on the path leading from the house.
The crowd softy applauded as little Lucy, now four years old, walked down the aisle in a beautiful flower girl dress, scattering rose petals with a brilliant, golden smile on her face. In her hand, she carried a small silver basket alongside her cherished wooden bunny, Milo.
Then came Grace.
She looked breathtaking in a simple yet stunning lace gown that swept the grass softly. Her eyes were locked onto Daniel, radiance and peace shining from her face. There were no secrets, no shadows, and no doubts—only a deep, enduring love born from trials survived together.
When Grace reached the altar, Daniel took both her hands in his.
"A year ago, I had all the money in the world, but I was completely bankrupt," Daniel said, his voice resonant and full of emotion. "You taught me that true wealth isn't built in glass towers or bank accounts. It is built in kindness, in patience, and in the love we share with those who need it most. You gave me back my daughter, and you gave me back my life."
Grace smiled, tears of joy reflecting the afternoon sun. "And you showed me that no matter how deep the grief or how dark the storm, love can rebuild any broken piece of our world."
As the officiant declared them husband and wife, Daniel pulled Grace into a warm, passionate embrace amidst cheering and applause.

Lucy ran up to them, tossing her arms around both of their legs. Daniel leaned down, lifting his daughter up between them so the three of them stood embraced together under the open sky.
The silence that once filled the grand mansion was gone forever, replaced by the sweetest sound in the world: the warm, unbroken sound of a happy family laughing together in the sun.
