Chapter 6 - A New Dawn

Six months later.

The ocean breeze blew gently across the terrace of a quiet coastal estate in Maine, far away from the press, the galas, and the dark memory of the London mansion, which Nathan had stripped down and donated to a local charity.

The Harrington empire was still standing, but Nathan had completely restructured his life. He stepped down as active CEO, delegating daily operations to a trusted board so he could work entirely from home.

On the lawn below, Leo and Lucas were kicking a soccer ball, their laughter echoing in the summer air. Near the patio, little Emma was painting a picture, her hands covered in bright yellow and blue watercolors.

Nathan walked out onto the porch carrying a tray of fresh lemonade. Arthur, who Nathan had hired back as his personal house manager with full executive benefits, smiled warm-heartedly as he passed.

"They had a good day today, sir," Arthur said gently. "No nightmares last night."

"Thank you, Arthur. For everything," Nathan said, patting the old man's shoulder.

Nathan walked down to the grass. Emma looked up, her face lighting up with a radiant, genuine smile—a smile that held no fear.

"Daddy, look!" she called out, holding up her painting. It was a picture of a big house under a bright sun, with four figures holding hands.

Nathan knelt beside her, pulling her close into an embrace. He looked out at his sons running happily across the grass, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face.

The silence of his life was finally gone, replaced by the only sound that truly mattered: the joyful noise of his children being free.
