Chapter 3 - Unraveling the Web

By 2:00 a.m., Nathan’s estate was completely locked down. His private security team had surrounded the property, ensuring Victoria could not leave, hide evidence, or contact her wealthy allies.
In the study, Nathan sat across from his top attorney, Marcus Vance, and his head of security, Vance Hayes.
"We need more than just tonight," Nathan said, his face shadowed by exhaustion and fury. "A woman like Victoria doesn't just start abusing children out of nowhere. She's meticulous. She's hidden this for years. I want every inch of this house swept. I want every security camera log, every hidden drive, every medical record."
By dawn, Hayes’s team struck gold.
Behind a panel in Victoria’s private dressing room, they found a hidden safe. Inside wasn't just jewelry—it contained detailed logs, diary entries, and a series of terrifying medical reports.
Victoria wasn't just strict; she was pathologically obsessed with perfection. The children were subjected to cruel punishments whenever they failed to perform impeccably in public. Worse, Nathan discovered forged medical documents showing she had been giving the children mild sedatives to keep them quiet whenever high-profile guests visited the mansion.
"It's classic Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome, amplified by extreme sociopathy," Marcus Vance explained, reviewing the files with a grim expression. "She viewed the children as props for her public persona. When they didn't act like dolls, she punished them."

Nathan closed his eyes, a tear finally escaping and running down his cheek. "And I was too busy building an empire to see it."
"You see it now, sir," Hayes said quietly. "And now we end it."
