Chapter 7 - The Confrontation

Julian’s smile instantly froze. The color drained from his face as nearby syndicate leaders turned to look at him in shock.
"What is this nonsense?" Julian sneered, trying to keep his composure. "Dante, are you letting this random girl make ridiculous allegations against your own blood?"
"She isn't guessing, Uncle," Dante said, his voice dropping an octave as he stepped closer. "She is translating my mother's exact words. The mother you thought was helpless. The woman you spoke in front of for three years because you thought she couldn't understand you."
Emma continued to translate as Rosa’s hands flew with intense precision: On May 14th, you met with the rival syndicate in the estate garden. On August 2nd, you signed the fraudulent wire transfers. And three days ago, you paid Marco to put cyanide in my son's glass.
Julian panicked. He reached into his coat to signal his hidden security team, but Dante moved like lightning, grabbing Julian by the collar and shoving him against a grand marble pillar. Dante’s loyal bodyguards instantly flooded the floor, drawing their weapons and securing all exits before Julian's men could react.

Dante pulled out the black leather notebook and held it up for the entire room to see. "The full ledgers of Julian's treason have already been sent to every family captain and the syndicate board. His accounts are frozen. His men have surrendered."
Julian realized he was completely trapped. The crime syndicate lived by a strict code of loyalty, and Julian’s hidden treachery against his own family made him an enemy to everyone in the room.
