Chapter 10 - A Shared Voice

One year later, the grand gardens of the Moretti estate were decorated with white roses and glowing lanterns. Friends, family, and associates gathered under the open sky for a celebration of love and new beginnings.

Emma stood in a breathtaking white dress at the end of the aisle. Dante stood waiting for her, looking dashing in a tailored tuxedo, his eyes filled with emotion as he watched her walk toward him.

Beside Dante stood his mother, Rosa, looking radiant and healthy. She didn't look isolated or late to the conversation anymore; she was at the center of everything.

As Emma reached the altar, the priest began the wedding ceremony. But when it came time for the vows, Dante turned to face Emma. He didn't just speak his vows aloud—he signed every single word simultaneously, his hands precise and heartfelt:

I promise to protect you, to honor you, and above all, to always listen to you. You brought music back into a silent house, and you showed me what true strength looks like.

May you like

Emma wiped away a tear of joy and signed back: I choose you, today and every day, to be my voice, my partner, and my home.

From the front row, Rosa raised her hands, signing a blessing over both of them with tears of happiness streaming down her face. The room filled with applause—not out of fear for a mafia boss, but out of genuine admiration for a family that had finally learned how to hear one another.
