Chapter 6: The Media Storm

The next morning, the internet exploded.

A prominent digital news outlet published an exclusive, tearful video interview featuring Dominic and a heavily pregnant Natalie sitting in their rundown motel room.

The headline was carefully engineered for maximum outrage: "Billionaire Tyranny: How the Vance Medical Heiress Ruined Her Husband's Small Business and Cast Him into the Streets While Pregnant Mistress Faces Homelessness."

In the video, Dominic played the part of the heartbroken, blindsided husband perfectly. He claimed Audrey had hidden her wealth for years as a psychological game, and the moment he tried to protect his own company, she used her grandfather's corporate goons to lock him out, cancel his cards, and throw him out of the NICU while he was trying to visit his premature babies.

"She wouldn't even let me touch my children," Dominic sobbed on camera, squeezing Natalie’s hand. "She told me because I wasn't a billionaire, I didn't deserve to be a father. They are holding my babies hostage in Saint Aurelia Medical Center."

Within four hours, the video had over ten million views. The hashtag #JusticeForDominic began trending. Activists began gathering outside the gates of Saint Aurelia Medical Center, carrying signs demanding a boycott of Vance Global products.

Inside her private luxury suite at the hospital, Audrey watched the broadcast on a large flat-screen TV. Her face remained expressionless.

Arthur Vance was pacing the room, his phone buzzing violently in his hand. "Those roaches! How dare they drag your name through the mud! I’ll buy the news network by noon and fire every single person involved!"

"No, Grandfather," Audrey said, her voice completely calm as she held a bottle of pumped milk, preparing to go down to the NICU. "Don't touch the news network."

"Audrey, our stock dropped two points this morning!" Marcus Stone said, looking worriedly at his tablet. "The public relations damage is real. We need to issue a formal denial immediately."

"A formal denial looks like a guilty rich person hiding behind a legal team," Audrey said, standing up smoothly. Her strength had fully returned, her eyes clear and sharp. "Dominic wants a media war? Let’s give him a live broadcast. Marcus, call a press conference tomorrow at 10:00 AM in the main auditorium of the hospital. Invite every single news outlet that carried his story."

"And what are we going to say, my child?" Arthur asked, looking at her with a mixture of curiosity and pride.

Audrey smiled, a cold, beautiful expression. "We aren't going to say anything, Grandfather. We are just going to show them the receipts."
