Chapter 6 - The Legacy of Love

Two Years Later
The sun shone brightly over the lush, floral gardens of the Moretti estate. The high security walls were still there, guarded by loyal men, but the atmosphere inside the gates was no longer cold or terrifying.
The estate echoed with the sounds of classical piano music, children's laughter, and the bright, warm scent of summer roses blowing through the open glass doors.
On the manicured lawn, seven-year-old Emma was running freely, kicking a soccer ball toward a small net, her lungs completely clear, her health fully restored thanks to top-tier medical care.
Beside the field, Aleandro sat on a stone bench, wearing a comfortable linen shirt, holding a newborn baby boy in his arms—his four-month-old son, Leo.
Sophia sat right beside him, resting her head gently on Aleandro’s shoulder, her arm wrapped around his waist, watching Emma score a goal and celebrate with a cheerful shout!
"Goal, Daddy! Did you see that?!" Emma cheered, running over to the bench, her tiara shining under the summer sun.
"I saw it, my princess!" Aleandro laughed, leaning down to give Emma a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You have a kick like a professional striker!"
Aleandro looked down at the sleeping baby in his arms, then at Sophia, whose face radiated true happiness, peace, and love.
The tragedy that had once threatened to break Aleandro Moretti had been conquered not by violence or power, but by a simple, selfless act of mercy from a five-year-old child holding a pink rabbit backpack.
