Chapter 4 - The Night of Reckoning

At 3:00 AM, six black armored SUVs sped down the quiet, winding coastal roads of the Hamptons, their lights turned completely off, navigating through the thick fog using military-grade thermal night vision.

The Falcone estate was an imposing, stone mansion surrounded by a twelve-foot concrete wall topped with razor wire and security cameras. Four armed guards walked the main driveway, carrying automatic rifles.

Inside the lead SUV, Aleandro checked the magazine of his custom tactical pistol, pulling the slide back with a sharp, metallic clack.

"EMP charge deployed," Marco reported from the passenger seat, looking at a digital tablet screen. "In five seconds, their security cameras, motion sensors, and communications will go completely black."

"Execute," Aleandro commanded.

BOOM!

A muted, low-frequency pulse echoed through the air! Every light on the Falcone estate extinguished instantly! The main security gates swung loose as their magnetic locks failed!

The armored SUVs smashed through the iron gates, tearing onto the immaculate lawn!

Before the guards could raise their weapons, Aleandro’s elite tactical team flooded out of the vehicles, moving with absolute, terrifying precision. Suppressed gunshots echoed softly through the fog as the outer guards were neutralized within seconds.

Aleandro kicked open the grand front doors of the Falcone mansion, stepping into the dark marble foyer.

"Aleandro Moretti!" a voice screamed from the second-floor balcony!

Don Carmine Falcone—a heavy, gray-haired man in his sixties—stood near the balcony railing, surrounded by six panicked bodyguards, holding a gold-plated revolver.

"How are you alive?!" Falcone shrieked, his voice filled with terror. "Vincent said the toxin was foolproof!"

"Your plan was foolish, Carmine," Aleandro called out, his voice echoing off the vaulted ceilings like a specter of death. "You relied on a traitor, and you forgot that justice always finds a way."

"Kill him!" Falcone screamed to his men! "Kill all of them!"

A intense firefight erupted across the grand foyer! Muzzle flashes illuminated the dark room like jagged lightning! Aleandro moved behind a marble pillar, returning fire with lethal accuracy, dropping two guards in rapid succession!

Marco and the tactical team advanced up the twin staircases, suppressing the remaining guards with overwhelming firepower!

Within four minutes, the gunfire stopped.

Carmine Falcone lay on the carpeted floor of his private study, bleeding from a shoulder wound, backed against his heavy mahogany desk, breathing heavily as he looked up into the barrel of Aleandro’s gun.

"Wait... wait, Aleandro!" Falcone begged, holding up his blood-stained hands. "It was business! Just business! I'll give you everything—my shipping lines, my cash reserves, my territory in Miami! Just spare my life!"

Aleandro stood over him, his face illuminated by the moonlight filtering through the window.

"Three years ago, you put a bomb under a car carrying a mother and a five-year-old girl," Aleandro said, his voice terrifyingly calm, devoid of all anger, leaving only pure, absolute judgment. "Did they beg for their lives, Carmine?"

"Aleandro, please—"

BANG!

A single gunshot ended fifteen years of blood feuds and mafia tyranny in New York.

Aleandro lowered his weapon, staring at the lifeless body of the man who had destroyed his world. He took a long, deep breath—the first real breath he felt he had taken in three long, agonizing years.

The darkness that had consumed his soul since the day of the bomb finally began to clear, making room for something he thought he had lost forever: peace.
