Chapter 10 - A New Horizon and Absolute Peace

The crisp mountain air of Aspen filled my lungs as I stepped out onto the wide wooden deck of the newly acquired cabin in June 2026. I leaned back fully into his warm embrace, smiling as the golden sun dipped below the rugged mountain peaks, painting the sky in brilliant shades of amber, violet, and rose.
"Just realizing that the best revenge isn't looking back," I replied softly, watching the light change across the valley. "It's building a life so brilliantly bright, you never even remember the dark."
