Chapter 6 - A Bright Tomorrow

Eleanor gently lifted her daughter into her arms, holding her close as the young girl wrapped her arms tightly around her mother’s neck, hiding her face in her shoulder.
"Are you okay, my little princess?" Eleanor whispered softly into her hair, her tone instantly softening from icy fury into pure, tender warmth.
The little girl looked up, her bright eyes shining with relief, and pointed toward the massive glass doors leading out to the quiet night air. "I want to go home now, Mommy. I don't like it here."
"Then let's go home, baby. We're done here forever."
Eleanor turned her back on the ballroom full of helpless billionaires, walking away down the long aisle without looking back a single time. She didn't need their validation, their meaningless titles, or their desperate, fake respect. She had fought her way out of the dark ashes of poverty to protect the only thing that truly mattered, and tonight, truth and unconditional love had won the war.
Outside, a cool, refreshing night breeze brushed against their faces, washing away the toxic scent of heavy perfume and cheap champagne.
Waiting at the bottom of the grand marble steps was a tall, handsome figure standing beside a simple black car. It was Eleanor’s husband—no longer broken, beat down, or defeated by the past, but standing tall, proud, and strong. In his hands, he held a massive bouquet of fresh, blooming pink roses—his daughter's absolute favorite flower.

The little girl’s face lit up with pure, untainted joy. "Daddy!" she squealed, reaching her arms out for him.
He caught her in a massive bear hug, lifting her high into the air as laughter filled the night. As Eleanor stepped into her husband's embrace, she knew their long, painful nightmare was officially over. They had built a legacy not out of cruelty, deception, or stolen wealth, but out of resilience, sacrifice, and love—and no one in the world would ever dare hurt their family again.
