Chapter 7 - A New Dynasty

One year later, the sun shone brightly over the terraced gardens of the Rossi Estate.

The mansion was no longer a cold, dark fortress. The heavy drapes had been replaced with light, airy linen, and the rooms were filled with the scent of fresh flowers and the sound of laughter.

I stood on the balcony, wearing a beautiful, white silk gown that flowed around my ankles like water. My hair was styled in soft curls, and a stunning emerald and diamond ring glittered on my finger.

Behind me, the glass doors slid open.

Nico stepped onto the terrace, wearing a classic black tuxedo. He looked incredibly handsome, the silver at his temples shining in the afternoon sun. He walked over to me, wrapping his strong arms around my waist, and pulled me back against his chest.

"You look breathtaking, Luna," Nico whispered, his lips brushing against my neck.

"I'm happy, Nico," I said, leaning back into his warmth. "Really happy."

Over the past year, Nico had systematically cleaned up his businesses, transitioning the Rossi empire into legitimate, high-end real estate, shipping, and security operations. He had used his power to build community centers and fund clinics across Hadley, transforming his reputation from a feared mafia boss to a respected patriarch.

Valentina had fled to Europe, disgraced and forgotten by high society. Liam and Amber were living in a tiny, dilapidated trailer park in a remote town in North Dakota, working low-wage jobs and constantly fighting, their toxic love having turned into a prison of their own making.

But for us, the future was bright.

"The guests are waiting, my queen," Nico murmured, turning me in his arms to look into my eyes. His gray eyes were filled with a warmth and devotion that still made my breath catch. "Are you ready to show them our new dynasty?"

"I am," I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss, a promise of a lifetime of love, protection, and power.

As we walked hand-in-hand down the grand staircase into the ballroom, surrounded by the cheers and applause of Hadley’s elite, I knew with absolute certainty that the red dress had been just the beginning.

I had entered his world looking for revenge—but I had found my king. And together, we were unstoppable.
