Police returned to the Montiel mansion with a search warrant.
Kitchen cameras.
Security footage.
House staff interviews.
Everything was examined.
One overlooked camera near the pantry revealed the truth.
The video clearly showed Valeria removing a prescription bottle from her purse.
She looked around.
Opened Santi's formula.
Poured the liquid inside.
Then smiled.
When detectives played the footage for Tomás, he covered his face with both hands.
"I trusted you," he whispered to Valeria.
"You were supposed to love him."
She tried to explain.
"He cried all the time..."
"I just wanted one quiet afternoon."
Tomás stepped backward.
"No."
"You wanted convenience."
"You almost killed my son."
The officers placed Valeria in handcuffs.
