Chapter 4: The Confrontation

The next morning, the "therapist" arrived—a man with cold eyes and a syringe case. Clara watched from the doorway as he approached Noah. The boy began to scream, his eyes darting to Clara.

"Get out," Clara said, her voice shaking but firm.

The therapist laughed, looking toward the hallway where Dominic stood. "Mr. Vale, the girl is interfering."

Dominic stepped into the room, his presence snuffing out the air. "Clara, leave the room. This is for his own good."

"He isn't sick, Dominic!" Clara stepped in front of Noah, who clung to her apron—the first time he had ever touched anyone willingly. "He's being drugged! I found the diary. You're not protecting him; you're silencing him because you're terrified of what he is."

Dominic’s face turned deathly pale. The guards surged forward. Clara didn't flinch. She leaned down and whispered to Noah, "Show him. Show him the truth."

Noah closed his eyes. The room began to hum. Suddenly, every camera in the mansion sparked and died. The windows rattled in their frames. A psychic pressure pushed the guards back, pinning them against the walls. It wasn't a tantrum; it was an energy release.
